ACT OF CONSECRATION TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY

O' Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of Heaven and earth, and tender Mother of men, in accordance with thy ardent wish made known at Fatima, I consecrate to Thee myself, my brethren, my country, and the whole human race.

Reign over us and teach us how to make the Heart of Jesus reign and triumph in us, and around us, as it has reigned and triumphed in Thee.

Reign over us, dearest Mother, that we may be Thine in prosperity and in adversity, in joy and in sorrow, in health and in sickness, in life and in death.

O'Most Compassionate Heart of Mary, Queen of Virgins, watch over our minds and hearts and preserve them from the deluge of impurity which did lament so sorrowfully at Fatima. We want to be pure like Thee. We want to atone for the many crimes committed against Jesus and Thee. We want to call down upon our country and the whole world the peace of GOD in justice and charity.

Therefore, we now promise to imitate Thy virtues by the practice of a Christian life without regard to human respect. We resolve to receive Holy Communion regularly and to offer five decades of the Rosary each day, together with our sacrifices in the spirit of reparation and penance, Amen.

FOUR SPECIAL GRACES PROMISED TO THOSE DEVOTED TO THE DOLORS OF OUR LADY

(1) That those who before death invoked the Blessed Mother in the name of Her sorrows, should obtain true repentance of all their sins.

(2) That He would protect in their tribulations all who remember this devotion, and that He would protect them especially at the hour of death.

(3) That He would impress upon their minds the rememberance of His Passion, and that they should have their reward for it in Heaven.

(4) That He would commit such devout clients to the hands of Mary, so that She might obtain for these souls all the graces She wanted to lavish upon them.

THE THREE HAIL MARYS (A devotion promoted by St. Anthony of Padua)

Our Lady requested the daily recitation of three Hail Marys, and She revealed the following to St. Mechtilde:

"The first Hail Mary will be in honour of GOD the Father, whose omnipotence raised my soul so high above every other creature that, after GOD, I have the greatest power in Heaven and on earth. In the hour of your death I will use that power of GOD the Father to keep any hostile power far from you."

"The second Hail Mary will be in honour of GOD the Son, who communicated His inscrutable wisdom to me...In the hour of your death I will fill your soul with the light of that wisdom so that all the darkness of ignorance and error will be dispelled."

"The third Hail Mary will be in honour of GOD the Holy Ghost, who filled my soul with the sweetness of His love and tenderness and mercy...In your last hour I will then change the bitterness of death into divine sweetness and delight."

PROMISE: During an apparition to St. Gertrude the Great, the Blessed Mother promised: â"To any soul who faithfully prays the three Hail Marys I will appear at the hour of death in a splendour of beauty so extroardinary that it will feel the soul with Heavenly consolation."

ACT OF CONSECRATION

O'Mary, Virgin and most powerful Mother of Mercy, Queen of Heaven and Refuge of Sinners, I consecrate myself today to Your Immaculate Heart. At Fatima, You promised to convert Russia and bring peace to all mankind. In reparation to Your Immaculate Heart for my sins, and for the sins of the whole world, I solemnly promise: 1) To offer up every day the sacrifices demanded by daily life. 2) To pray five decades of the Rosary every day, while meditating on the mysteries. 3) To wear the Scapular of Mount Carmel as profession of this promise and as an act of consecration to You. I shall renew this promise often, especially in moments of temptation, Amen.
